    This is a Sales Specialist - Product role, reporting to the Sales Manager - Product in Business Area - Electrification based in Kochi, India. You will be primarily responsible to lead strategic sourcing activities for PCBA commodities at INOPC Global Sourcing team. Support LBUs in managing RfQ’s to identifying best cost execution suppliers. Support in Quality, delivery and managing KPI performance. Target achievement in terms of most competitive cost/budget, schedule and supply quality. Maintain a primary interface with EMS Suppliers, Procurement & Logistics Manager(s), category teams and as required other team members on all matters related to Division. Ensure execution in accordance with Div principles and LDU P&L guidelines and procedures.

    Your responsibilities

    • Identification, floating inquiries for quotations / RFQs, making comparative analysis of prices and terms for purchasing decisions, negotiations, and finalization of Contracts with global suppliers for PI, PCP & MA for PCBA’s
    • Aligning category supply chain activities with business requirement. Implementing Strategic Sourcing in line with PI, PCP & MA, & P&L strategy ensuring that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements
    • Managing and developing relationships with suppliers and stakeholders at Local Division Lines. Assess and evaluate existing suppliers' performance
    • Analyzing procurement activities covering total costs & delivery times. Identifying opportunities to improve both cost and time on EMS processes
    • Ensuring appropriate supplier selection (focusing on most competitive total cost, quality, processes and sustainability) in accordance with product & company policies
    • Monitoring the program OTD and deliverable as per requirement of LDL. Managing critical component supply chain issues
    • Documenting general and special conditions for use on all project purchase documents, project procurement procedures, and project procurement plans and ensures compliance

    Your background

    • Education – B.E / B. Tech or equivalent
    • Experience – Minimum 5 year’s experience in handling relevant channel
    • Responsible for Installer & Retail channel and to handle customer segments like Contractors and Builders in assigned territory
    • Responsible for developing the market and obtaining approvals for our EL Range of Products from Consultants and Builders in assigned territory
    • Responsible for Growth of existing channel partners in assigned territory
    • To identify white spot and appoint new channel partners in assigned territory
    • To develop retail business in assigned territory
