Within the global ABB Group, you will be part of the Robotics Automation (RA) business and its wide range of products and solutions. From the naked robot to the systems automation solutions, become the ambassador of an innovative brand and participate in its growth. Reporting to the Local Business Line Manager France, you will ensure the development and follow-up of a customer portfolio composed of industrial players in the logistics, pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food & beverage industries in the France-East region (North-East + South-East). You will use your experience and motivation to develop lasting relationships with customers by identifying effective solutions to their needs. In order to cover the geographical area, you are ideally located in the area of Lyon.
Your responsibilities
- Develop sales of our range of products and robotic systems in the North-East and South-East regions in the food, cosmetics, pharmaceutical and logistics segments.
- Prospect and develop new potential customers, identify and act with the players in our strategic and priority markets
- To create long-lasting relationships with customers: users, manufacturers, engineering and integrators
- Become a recognized player in the region (professional networks in the region, local representatives, etc.) by ensuring a sustained and regular presence with customers
- Qualify new strategic projects, anticipate calls for tender
- To be attentive to the market, to understand and transmit the needs of the customers of the commercially targeted segments to the internal support services for the development of the technical offer
- Promote, prescribe and sell our technical solutions for Robotic Applications
- Analyze the specifications, define the optimized technical solution from our standard solutions
- Negotiate and finalize the commercial conditions of the contracts
- Answer and/or transmit the technical requests of the customers
- Define and follow the action plan elaborated with the business line manager
- Produce commercial proposals and technical files adapted to customer expectations
- Develop the sales pitch for the proposed solutions
- Manage, follow up and relaunch the project portfolio
- Coordinate sales actions with the team's Sales Engineers
- Contribute to the deployment of framework contracts with large groups
- Follow up on customer receivables until full recovery
- Establish sales forecasts and sales action plans
- Carry out regular reporting
Your background
- Ideally 3/5 years of higher education in automation or industrial computing, supplemented by a sales background.
- Commercial experience required in the sale of robots, industrial and technical applications and special machines
- Knowledge of robotics or robotic system integration required
- Knowledge of the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical segments
- Knowledge of the logistics segment
- Required qualities: autonomy, adaptability, interpersonal skills, reactivity, dynamism, listening skills, creativity...
- Written and spoken English imperative
- Knowledge of tools: Microsoft, SalesForce would be a plus
- Strong awareness of Health, Safety and Security rules: HSE is everyone's business.
