Sales Support Specialist

You will be working as Sales Support Specialist and will be part of Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager, you will be responsible for the bid during the whole sales phase, from lead until winning the order and collaborating with ABB group functions, such as Legal, Finance, Taxes, and Insurance.

Your responsibilities

• Preparation of technical/commercial greenfield solution offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Business Unit and Sales organization directives
• Being single interface towards customer / Local Divisions and ensure timely and proactive communication
• Coordinating with procurement team and maintain support from internal and third- party suppliers and understanding to add to the bid plans and decision making along as the tendering process evolves
• Analyzing project proposals cost plans and prepare for risk review and defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating to sales organization.
• Prepare win/loss analysis for the bids prepared as per bid process compliance
• Delivering high quality bid documentation meeting bid timelines

Your background

• BE /B Tech (Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Instrumentation & Control)
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in bidding / Tendering for Automation (DCS /PLC/Safety PLC/Power Management Systems) solutions including cybersecurity for energy industries
• Experience in handling MAC / Turnkey bids would be an added advantage
• Experience from engineering and project execution is an advantage
• Knowledge about market requirements and standards within the industry is positive
• Knowledge of ABB automation products like 800xA / Symphony Plus will have advantage
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills. French/ Spanish/ German language knowledge will have added advantage
