    Sales Support Specialist

    This is a Sales Support Specialist role, reporting to the Sales Support Manager in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to create and complete bids/estimations/quotations based on customer specification or customer requirements/budget in order to achieve both market competitiveness and high margin for the company. Maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers that are present in the area of responsibility.

    Your responsibilities

    • Understanding customer requirements / RFQs
    • Automation market knowledge, products, and solutions
    • Preparing all required documentation regarding the offer and records and assumptions and decisions taken during the bid preparation process in line with ISO formats and process
    • Conducting techno-commercial discussion with the customers on proposed technical offers
    • Developing RFQ for sub-suppliers based on scope of the project. Identifying potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the cost estimation and technically evaluate supplier offers matching technical specifications. Collaborating with Supply Chain Management to arrive at the best lowest competitive vendor
    • Preparing the complete cost estimation for the automation scope of work
    • Pro-actively identifying potential quality and efficiency improvements within assigned work
    • Understanding of the complete project life cycle including project deliverables is must
    • Must have good & clear Communication
    • Identify the risks and possible mitigation solution
    • Ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, client responsiveness, and thorough communication
    • Regular reporting in the required formats
    • Experience in ABB automation products & solutions will be an added advantage

    Your background

    • BE /B Tech (Electronics / Electronics & Communication /Instrumentation)
    • Minimum 6-8 years hands on relevant experience
    • Experience in Preparing bids / estimations in domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals / Power & Water based on customer specification / customer requirement to achieve both market competitiveness and winning orders for the company
    • Automation bidding (technical & commercial ) experience is a must and automation market knowledge will be good
