    Position summary

    ås, Gothenburg, Olofström, and Jönköping. More than 90% of our production is exported and we serve customers in industries such as the automotive industry and general manufacturing. Global Solution Center (GSC) Automotive Sweden is an ABB Robotics unit dedicated to developing and delivering Functional modules & products to automotive customers globally. With locations in Mölndal and Olofström, we are now seeking to strengthen our team in Mölndal. As a Sales Support Specialist in our team, you will take on the technical responsibility for automotive industry clients. You will play a crucial role as a liaison between technical expertise and sales, providing insights into ABB's robotics and automation solutions.

    Your responsibilities

    • Act as the technical lead for customers within the automotive sector.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and contribute to the sales process.
    • Assist in the development of new applications, outlining possibilities, limitations, and proposing pricing strategies.
    • Support technical reviews and participate in core technical meetings to ensure a comprehensive understanding of customer requirements.
    • Offer technical advice and provide comments on inquiry specifications for customers and Sales Specialists.

    Your background

    • 5 years of experience in automation, preferably within the automotive industry.
    • Engineering background, with an emphasis on technical interest/know-how, adaptability, and social skills.
    • Knowledge of automotive production processes, understanding industry requirements, and a passion for the automotive sector.
    • Familiarity with ABB's robotics and automation solutions is valuable.
    • Fluent in English; knowledge of Swedish is advantageous.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
