    Position summary

    based strategy including direct, third party, and project sales and enhancing cross-division and cross-region business-led collaborations for the specific market segment. The work model for the role is: remote This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings, Smart Power and Distribution Solution divisions in the US. You will be mainly accountable for: • Identifying the main account targets in the US and ensure that those major accounts in the segment are prioritized. • Leads the development of sales strategies for named accounts by providing the customer's current business and long-term plans, including the coordination of national strategies. • Defines and proposes sales targets and growth margins for the segment. • Leads the development and implementation of a semiconductor segment account plan. Designs the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing opportunities and identifying a target for each solution element. Proposes recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.
    Qualifications for the role

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Industrial Distribution with minimum of 10 years related experience. MBA or business preferred in addition.
    • Experience leading or participating in capture teams selling. Able to lead and direct front end and back-end capture team members to drive anticipated outcomes.
    • Direct sales experience in the electrical industry, experience selling solutions to the semiconductor market is a plus.
    • Ability to travel 50% and work extended hours on occasion when required, which might include weekends.
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
