Segment Manager

Working within the EL SP/LVS, the Segment Manager define and implement Sales and Marketing strategies in order to achieve ABB market penetration and growth aspirations for the assigned segment INDUSTRY for Low Voltage Switchgear in ITALY. In this role, you will Manage the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Your responsibilities

• Define appropriate targets for the sales unit, based on key objectives set by global Product Group.
• Ensure that these are achieved through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
• Ensure that the maximum portfolio is offered in line with Product Group strategy, according to local market needs and according to the agreed segment approach.
• Support the correct price positioning to ensure the profitability.
• Continuously assess market trends, customers, competitors, industries, applications and country analyses to identify and realize opportunities with existing and potential new customers within the target segment.

Your background

• Graduated or with very high level of experience in similar contest (5-10 years).
• Demonstrated experience in management of complex customers (EPCs and process Industry).
• Good knowledge of Electrification product and system in process industry.
• Good knowledge of English language.
• International business approach & experience.
