We are looking for a new Bid and Proposal Manager - Engineer/Bid Designer to join our Robotics Division in the Czech Republic. In this position, your mission will be to prepare business and technical bids in the field of robotic workplaces, especially for industrial welding and metal cutting applications, and to provide technical support to the sales and project execution departments. Your office may be at your home, however, you will be very often at the branch in Mosnov, where we have opened a new production hall which includes a welding laboratory and will also be used for customer presentations and test trials. Your responsibilities

• Designing technical solutions and creating project costing based on customer's demands
• Creating design concepts and creating simulations
• Presenting and defending the design solution to the customer (Europe) - approx. 20% travel and the rest Home Office/Office
• Communication and coordination with customers and suppliers
• Collaboration in managing the progress of the contract, communication both within the organization and with the customer

Your background

• University degree in a technical field
• English language at a communicative level (communication within the company + presentation to the customer)
• Experience with 3D design Software (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCad, Catia etc.)
• Previous experience as a designer, engineer, bidder in the technical field
• Not afraid to go on the occasional business trip within Europe (approx. 20%/year)
• Professional approach with customer orientation
• Technical mindset
• Driving license B
• German language at a communicative level is an advantage
