    As a Senior Embedded Software Developer/Architect, you will contribute significantly to technology and product development projects by identifying and implementing innovative solutions. In this role, you will use your technical knowledge to oversee development tasks and to contribute to strategic technology plans and the project portfolio.     Your responsibilities

    • Working in an agile environment in an international environment and being responsible for the entire development process, from requirements elicitation to implementation and system testing
    • Creating software architectures for real-time critical embedded systems and integrating security aspects into the development process
    • Solving complex industrial problems, and reviewing current technologies to choose effective applications, equipment and methods for new products or software
    • Performing a variety of complex technology/engineering assignments, typically utilizing advanced, innovative techniques
    • Training junior team members when needed, and heading up or participating in projects
    • Keeping up to date with technologies, tools and methods, and implementing initiatives to improve operations and customer satisfaction
    • Providing expert assistance for projects and colleagues, acting as a mentor and disseminating lessons learned
    • Providing consulting services to business operations and customers, and representing the group/team in engineering

    Your background

    • Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable field complemented by several years of professional experience in the area of embedded software development
    • Sound knowledge and very good practical experience with the programming languages C++, C as well as with the Linux operating system and common development environments
    • Interest in IIoT and the related challenges regarding "Cyber Security"
    • Experience with current/agile development methods such as SCRUM and the terms UML, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, Yocto and Docker are no foreign words to you
    • A solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Personal initiative, a cooperative work style and the ability to work in a team
    • Fluency in German and English
