You will be working as Senior Engineer – Applications at global grade 14 and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area for Machine Automation Division based in Pune, India. In this role you will be reporting to Head - National Application and will be responsible for Induction Topic Training for new joiner at B&R India, regular upskilling activities for all technical employees. You will be conducting and coordinating for customer standard trainings, create customized training on special requests.
Your responsibilities
- Conducting eCamp / Topic training for B&R India employees, collecting registrations, issuing certificates and receiving feedback to improve process, contents and delivery
- Upkeeping of hardware issued to E-camp & training room and acting as first contact for support requests
- Handling critical support calls, coordinating and validating all information
- Supporting B&R internal team for technical queries and sales for new requirements and configuration possibilities
- Handling AS and OS related topics, CSP Data validation & Escalation to 2nd level
- Preparing Sample projects and concept development
- Providing Product Support such as Configuration, Sample Tasks, Product features, Usability, Hardware Diagnostics
Your background
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical/ Instrumentation /Mechatronics
- Minimum 3 – 7 years of experience in application development and support experience
- Good knowledge in Industrial Automation systems like PLCs, motors, drives, motion control, robotic systems FAT and SAT
- Understanding of Industrial IoT and market requirements and capacity to establish effective networks in a multicultural setting
- Excellent communication and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and address key issues with maximum integrity and professionalism
