    Senior Failure Analysis Engineer

    We are looking for Senior Failure Analysis Engineer to analyse complex failures of variable speed drives at ABB Drives Estonia. In this position, you will work in close cooperation with Reliability, R&D and Product Engineering units to find the rootcause of failures related to product, PCBA or any relevant electronic components. The core of this role is to improve product quality and reliability through rootcause analysis and to develop and implement rootcause analyse methods in team.

    Your responsibilities

    • Performs rootcause analysis for drives, PCBA-s and other electronic components
    • Prepares reports with corrective and preventive actions
    • Coordinates and follow-up on resolution across different functions(internally) and supplier/3rd party laboratories
    • Failure analysis process ownship
    • Rootcause analysis method development and implementation

    Your background

    • Higher education and relevant work experience in the field of engineering
    • Strong technical background in electronics or power electronics
    • Hands-on working style
    • Good English, spoken and written
    • Proactive, self-reliant way of working
