As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will provide financial and controlling expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing metrics, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to relevant groups, and recommending actions to improve financial performance of a specific business.

Senior Business Controller

Your responsibilities

• Control owner of SOX control related to pass thru business
• Analyze financial data and suggest journal entries according to USGAAP for financial accuracy
• Reconcile general ledger accounts
• Coordinate collection activities to maintain overdues at the lowest level
• Analyze orders and revenues margins for verification and correctness
• Work and coordinate with order handling and project management for revenue recognition assurance and ERP delivery date updates
• Participate and follow up on forecast and budget process
• Monthly invoice of charge outs to different internal units
• Prepare statistical reporting entries
• Provide business explanation in accounts variation
• Conduct analysis of costs, expenses and allocations from Sales and Marketing
• Optimization of process by developing automated solutions and eliminating duplications

Your background

• Bachelors degree in Business Administration
• 5 years minimum experience in similar position or accounting and financial analysis experience in large/multinational units
• Cross function work experience, and effective presentation and written communication skills
• Advanced accounting & USGAAP knowledge, and financial analysis experience
• SAP experience required, advanced Excel and Microsoft Office user
• SOX controls knowledge and experience required
• Analytical attitude and attention to details, leadership experience a plus
• Account receivables, collection, reconciliations experience
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
