    Your responsibilities

    • Provide technical support for motor and generator product service and repairs.
    • Provide technical support & guidance for shop floor workforce in the inspection, service, repair and upgrade of motor and generator equipment.
    • Generate repair reports including initial inspection and final repair reports.
    • Lead shop personnel technical training & development training plans in line with Shop service & growth strategy.
    • Provide shop quality support including calibration program, preventative maintenance, FMEA, Q-Notes, corrective actions, preventative actions and standard plans.
    • Create, update and monitor online job packages for each repair job.
    • Work with the operations team to coordinate customer repair work to ensure on-time delivery.
    • Liaise with other departments to resolve issues and barriers to superior customer service striving to meet/exceed customers' expectations.
    • Assist in driving improvement initiatives (e.g. Continuous Improvement, Cost Control, ISO, Safety, etc.) within the Shop.
    • Partner with operations staff to support job scheduling, resource allocation, quotations, and customer interactions/visits
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Your background

    • Minimum 5 years direct experience in the testing, repair, maintenance and upgrade of motor and generator equipment.
    • Computer experience including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office, and fluency in email and web applications.
    • Strong verbal and written communications.
    • Strong focus on Health and Safety and Quality.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a diverse cross-functional team environment.
    • Strong Customer Advocate.
    • Strong background in interpretation of Engineering drawings/specifications, electrical, and process planning/evaluation.
    • Experience in the technical direction of craft labor.
    • Minimal travel may be required.
