    Senior PCBA Test Engineer (80-100%)

    In this position, you will develop and implement PCBA Production Tests for new designs including maintenance and support of existing infrastructure. Besides, you will assure compliance to DFT best practice in the product designs through early involvement in the product development process.

    Your responsibilities

    • Develop product test and equipment specifications.
    • Develop equipment and process qualification plans in collaboration with external partners.
    • Hands on supervision of manufacturing prototype and pilot runs at electronic contract manufacturers.
    • Hands on supervision of design, deployment and qualification of specified test equipment in collaboration with external partners.
    • Develop and maintain test sequences in NI Teststand and other test execution platforms.
    • Prepare and manage detailed task driven schedule for equipment development.
    • Estimate resources and expenses for test equipment development.
    • Create, maintain and keep current all technical documentation.
    • Actively participate in problem solving of manufacturing / quality issues and maintenance of existing equipment.

    Your background

    • 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing or production environment.
    • Good understanding of system design software (NI TestStand, C#, etc).
    • Windows power user and knowledgeable in cybersecurity principles and practice.
    • Exposure to various test equipment architectures (VXI, PXI, Rack and Stack, etc).
    • Knowledge of communication protocols (Modbus, Ethernet, CAN, SPI, etc).
    • Electronic circuit knowledge: digital, analog, power and high voltage- Proficient in the use of laboratory instruments and methods (Power sources, scopes, precision meters, etc).
    • Experience with electrical, pneumatic and mechanical systems.
    • Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal), German is an advantage.
