Senior Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for reviewing Electrical Equipment Specifications, Data Sheets, Purchase Requisitions and Bid evaluations for control equipment as required. Reporting to Engineering Manager, Electrification & Drives oversee all excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work with clients and staff in a team environment.

Your responsibilities

• Providing technical guidance and supporting to the project teams and clients. Providing technical support to designers and engineering
• Reviewing Vendor/Third Parties Documents (Block diagrams; Connection drawings for electro and instrument; Loop drawings; IO lists; Cable lists; Cable Calculations; Light calculations; Cable routing)
• Quality controlling of all deliverables within the Electrical scope
• Performing EL Design duties associated with project scope of work
• Must be able to work independently or with minimal supervision and still meet commitment deadlines
• Accountable for the quality of deliverables in line with the needs of the customer and regulatory authorities
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adjust priorities quickly

Your background

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline (B.Sc./ M.Sc./ B.Eng.)
• Minimum 8 years working experience for Electrical composite project, with 4 years in the
• Pulp Paper, Cement or Metals/Mining industries and power plant
• Good understanding and experience in preparing and supplying technical project documentation in accordance with customer requirements and specifications
• Must be familiar with relevant codes, international standards, client Design Specifications and procedures, and have a thorough working knowledge of the latest design and analytical techniques
• Knowledge and Experience using Microsoft Office applications
