This is a Senior Project Engineer - Cyber Security role, reporting to the Technical Authority in Business Area - India Operations Centre, Process Automation (INOPC PA) based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible for key technical application support and expertise primarily in the area of control systems for Cyber Security.
Your responsibilities
- Designing and implementing project specific system, network and security architectures and delivering sustainable services to maintain the achieved cyber security levels
- Ensuring our project and service deliveries meet the defined cyber security levels
- Introducing new cyber security-related policies, standards, and practices
- Actively contributing to identifying, managing, and reducing cyber security risks
- Anticipating and influencing current and future technologies and trends
- Representing ABB as a cyber security expert in customer discussions
- Creating, maintaining, and sharing a comprehensive understanding of global cyber security risks and market requirements, including regulations and standards
Your background
- Engineering Degree is required
- Minimum of 4 year’s experience in the area of networking / cybersecurity
- Experience in the installation, integration and practical knowledge of networking components, server, and client computers Able to work under minimum supervision, and implement solutions in a timely, cost-effective manner
- Hands-on knowledge on domain, active directory, WSUS, ePO, system hardening, network hardening, application whitelisting
- Working knowledge on Managed switches, Firewalls, Network Analysis Tools (Silent Defense), Nozomi (design and deployment) and SIEM (QRadar / Splunk / LogRhythm) will be an added advantage
- Experience and interest with working on software product implementation methods & applications for IT based security solutions. Understanding of plant equipment, plant processes, control systems and ability to mentor other team members is beneficial additional information
