    Senior Project Implementation Manager

    As a Senior Project Implementation Manager you will lead the execution of medium-size and/or complex to large projects and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cyber security regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. You will support the management in overseeing team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution. You may also carry accountability for a portfolio of projects. In this you will directly report to the management (COO).     Your responsibilities

    • Lead the project team, establish the project execution approach and oversee project hand-over, execution planning and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals
    • Identify, qualify, quantify and manage project risks and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued
    • Define and apply advanced project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively to avoid possible future schedule deviations with OTD impact
    • Lead the project team members to achieve project requirements, delivery of deliverables and meeting the committed project result
    • Capture, analyse and share lessons learned throughout the project and take appropriate actions for successful future execution of the projects
    • Provide leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders
    • Identify and plan all document deliverables required by the scope of work and incorporates this plan into the overall project plan/schedule

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of experience in project management, customer success, or account management role
    • Exceptional project management skills and demonstrated ability to define requirements, develop project plans, manage project budgets and deadlines and report on post-project success and gap analysis
    • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Very good written and spoken German and English
    • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and working well under pressure
    • First class interpersonal skills adapt at building and motivating high performance teams
    • Strong problem solving and analytical/technical skills
    • Customer oriented approach, intuitive and fast reacting
