    Senior Project Manager

    As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the assigned diverse project team to deliver the project deliverables of the assigned project, efficiently and cost- effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements/standards and maximize customers satisfaction. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be effectively planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling activities necessary for predictable fulfillment of planned activities for the project with efficient utilization of available resources. The position is based in Singapore.

    Your responsibilities

    • Establishing, maintaining, and improving customer satisfaction by setting expectations and providing the expected value in accordance with the contract
    • Understanding legal and contractual requirements to manage projects within given borders and to request legal support/clarification as needed
    • Communicating appropriate information to customer and other stakeholders timely and to achieve desired understanding and results
    • Managing scope including the collection and management of all project issues, whether just a question a change or a claim, with associated negotiations and approvals. Understanding technical scope and deliveries and working very closely with stakeholders in engineering, commissioning for delivering the on cost/improved cost
    • Identifying, containing, and reducing risk, and ensure that all opportunities for customer satisfaction, margin improvement and/or project Growth are captured and acted upon
    • Managing the diverse team as well as stakeholders for the successful completion various project deliverable by maintaining project schedule, having good written/verbal communication among team members and lead and guide them as appropriate
    • Providing contractual inputs to Sales team & review contractual terms and condition, schedule, supplier quotations and participate on the contract negotiation on need basis
    • Ensuring project is delivered with highest quality as per the quality plan. Any deviation /NCR are recorded and analyzed and improvement using quality improvement tools like 4Q/lean 6 Sigma. Opportunity for improvement is delivered with continuous improvement project

    Your background

    • Degree/Master’s Degree in Electrical /Automation/Marine Engineering
    • 10-15 years’ experience in managing electrical power plant, drives system and automation projects with PM Certification
    • Proven track record of successfully delivering integrated projects comprises electrical power system, drive system and automation system to the marine sector/offshore/ /shipbuilding/oil & gas/power plants will be an added advantage
    • Experience in electrical design/engineering/commissioning, domain knowledge of marine Electrical systems and or System project commissioning/Site Management with Electrical, drives and automation will be an added advantage
    • He/she should possess strong communication and organizational skills, Business oriented, highly adaptable, Self- motivated, Team player, multi-tasking, detailed-oriented person, result-oriented, strong in problem-solving, good negotiation and leadership skills
    • Fully conversant with Office 365 tools, MS Project, SAP PS module, while experience in IPM would be a decided advantage
