    Position summary

    e Pulp and Paper Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a key cornerstone of industrial digitalization. Our comprehensive and modular solution covers all the core MES functionalities across the value chain, from order handling through customer service management. In this role you will be creating work plans and cost estimates for the project organization and Service Customers in consultation with respective Project Managers. You will ensure quality deliverables on time and at targeted cost. You will also participate in project meetings with customers, contractors and suppliers to resolve issues and interpret their needs. You will be creating specifications based on customer requirements and implementing MES software and data integration applications - hands-on work in the project and service deliveries, such as programming, application configuration and supporting commissioning are key parts of this role. You will also focus on creating structured and maintainable SW/code and deliverables with the right amount of documentation. The work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Preparing documentation and executing testing, installation, and commissioning activities • Participating in meetings with customers, contractors, and suppliers • Performing analysis and identifying issues in existing installations and implementing solutions • Assisting in technical proposals and providing trainings to colleagues and customers
    Qualifications for the role

    • Several years of project or service execution experience in the implementation of MES solutions, ideally with a background in the Pulp & Paper industry
    • Experience of SQL and relational databases (for example Oracle PL/SQL)
    • Experience of data integration and interfacing across distributed control and information systems
    • Ability to deliver complex software solutions and applications under demanding timelines, flexibility with changes and keeping customer focus, experience of architecture and industrial data integration standards and conventions
    • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Process/Automation Engineering, Information Sciences, or another relevant field
    • Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English, skills in Finnish and Swedish are an advantage in the role
    • This role requires the ability to travel abroad to customer sites from time to time
