    Senior SW Test Engineer

    You will be working as Senior SW Test Engineer and will be part of Motion Business Area for Traction Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible in Automation and manual testing. You will be performing in customer-focused Test Automation development activities on drive's firmware or application layer.

    Your responsibilities

    • Participating in refinement meetings to understand the VFD Functions and System Testing requirements
    • Performing Test Requirement Analysis, Manual Testing, Test Automation code development in C# activities in line with the quality management system
    • Maintaining the test defect logs captured during the testing and testing automation development of the assigned product
    • Supporting the Product owner in coordinating to provide and receive the technical inputs for the project and resolving the technical issues with the global architecture and development teams
    • Supporting project manager/ owner in the estimation of man hours required for the execution of the project deliverables
    • Creating and executing the release test descriptions and test plans for the scope of project being executed
    • Resolving customer specific issues/complaints received for assigned products as per the agreement with the L3 and L4 technical support teams

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical/ power electronics/ industrial drives
    • Minimum 4 to 6 years of experience in working with Industrial Drives / VFDs (drives)
    • Good Proficiency and minimum 2 years of experience in drives commissioning and Test Automation using C++/ C# / Python / Robo Framework
    • Good understanding of Configuration management, Code Repository, Requirements management, Code Management, CI/CD and different testing phases including Release testing
    • Understanding SCRUM way of working and attitude to take initiative and work independently towards the goal and knowledge on Drives / VFD products and Systems and Firmware Features will be added advantage
    • Highly motivated team-player with a collaborative, learning & solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills
