We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our development team. In this position, you will help developing test systems and automated tests to ensure high quality software tool releases. These tools support maintaining, commissioning, tuning variable speed drives. You will be focusing on test automation environments based on robot framework, pipelines in industrial, cross-platform environment. The position is located at Drive Products division in Helsinki, Finland. You will be working in a global software development organization of over 100 developers and testers. Your responsibilities
- Developing test infrastructure and automation
- Collaborating with development teams in an international environment
- Identifying and reporting quality issues
- Maintaining test specifications and documentation
- Ensuring best practices are used in test automation development
Your background
- Relevant experience in test automation of cross platform applications, Windows, mobile
- Experience working with tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Azure DevOps, Jenkins
- Sound knowledge and programming skills in for example Python
- Familiarity with security and performance testing is seen as benefit
- Familiarity with embedded devices is seen as benefit
- ISTQB level(s) of knowledge is seen as benefit
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
