Senior Test Engineer

You will be working as Senior Test Engineer and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Control Platform Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Department Lead and will be responsible for ensuring end to end quality, security and requirement confirmation of the products released.

Your responsibilities

• Designing use cases and test cases based on the requirements
• Designing test bench and environment based on the requirements and automation of test cases and scripting
• Planning and executing automated and manual test cases
• Co-ordinating with various development teams for defect management and follow ups
• Supporting the test team for execution and maintenance of automated test cases
• Driving root cause analysis for critical and most common issues found in tests and tune the automation

Your background

• Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering
• Minimum 4 to 8 years of Experience in control system deployment, engineering, operation and testing - 800xA, symphony+, melody, centum, experion, delta V
• Experience in Profibus, HART, FF, Harmony, S+, AC800M, MOD 300, Advant Master, Computer Networking and configurations
• Experience in Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Enterprise Connectivity systems (ECS and MES), SAP/Maximo Integration with Control System
• Safe Agile, SDLC, Defect Life cycle, Test Automation, Defect Management, white and black box test methodologies and experience in industrial automation cyber security implementation under ISA 62443
• Proficient with Microsoft Operating systems and MS Office. Knowledge of TFS and Application Life Cycle Management tool is added advantage
• Problem solving skills and experience in working with globally distributed teams and proven positive asserting skills
