Service & Commissioning Engineer (m/f/d)

We are looking for an Electrical, Power Electronics Engineer (m/f/d) for functional testing and commissioning of our prototypes and small series in Germany, with strong communication skills to actively support in all phases of a product development process.

Your responsibilities
- Responsibility for functional tests and commissioning of prototypes and small series of our future-oriented systems in the field of power electronics
- Taking over factory acceptance tests of our systems and ensuring successful handover to our customers
- Execution of worldwide commissioning and service missions, including independent execution of functional tests and fault analyses on site and in the test field
- Preparation of training documentation for our complex equipment and implementation of customer training to ensure optimal use of our products
- Responsibility for the planning and execution of environmental tests and the qualification of parts such as PCBs and components
- Coordination with other departments such as engineering, manufacturing, and project management to ensure efficient workflows
- There is an opportunity to be supportive in all phases of the product development process including specification, design, tests, and documentation as well as manufacturing launch and quality assurance
Your background
- Degree in electrical or power electronics engineering or completed technical vocational training
- Solid experience in commissioning of power electronic devices and practical laboratory knowledge for prototyping and testing of electrical converters
- Independent and confident work style with a systematic and results-oriented approach to projects
- In-depth and up-to-date knowledge of power electronics and very good knowledge of different converter topologies (DC/DC / DC/AC)
- Strong communication skills to successfully collaborate with colleagues, customers, and suppliers; initial project experience an advantage
- Willingness to get involved in related topics, characterized by creativity, inventiveness, high quality awareness and the ability to drive developments in an English-speaking team
- Willingness to travel worldwide (approx. 25%)
- Strong communication skills in German and English
