This position reports to
Global Service manager, Power Protection
HSE: Ensures compliance with group and customer health, safety and environmental directives and that regulations are implemented in own area of responsibility. Assesses risks and safety hazards and implements plans to ensure people and equipment safety for projects and contracts of own responsibility.
Service strategy: Ensures that service agreement commitments are in line with customer expectations. Ensures that sense of urgency and care are considered in fulfilling all the contract commitments. Utilize the local practices for notifying the account team of opportunities.
Tender preparation and negotiations: Support preparation of tenders through input on possible service selection to meet customer requirements, in accordance with the operational capabilities of the respective service unit. Supports the development of the contract strategy based on ABB's policies, customer requirements, and the overall execution strategy, taking into account operational scope, service portfolio strategies, risk, and pricing.
Contract execution (from contract start to end date): Identifies the contract baseline (including terms and conditions, KPI commitments, and guaranteed outputs) and highlights areas of potential risk. Pushes for timely and accurate execution of all services covered under the contract, by keeping track of and following up on KPIs and services provided to the customer. Prepares and executes regular performance reviews for and with the customer. Supports the renewal of agreements at the end of a contract period by providing reports on the overall past performance and potential additional services needed, based on the existing experience with the customer. When necessary, project manage product recall on own business installed base.
Performance management: Drives performance of the teams and processes involved in the delivery of all services covered under contracts by providing feedback on the contract. KPI achievements and ensuring customer feedback gets directed to the appropriate part of the organization.
2 years of experience in service or project management role.
Knowledge of of Business IT applications (SAP, SharePoint, Office)
Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Knowledge of Power protection products
Strong communication skills, fluent in English and Italian, spoken and written
