    The Service Coordinator occupies an important position in the execution of worldwide Service projects and activities related to Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems in Power Protection in Smart Power Division. You will be coordinating and planning the provision of necessary resources, spare parts and logistics for on-site service jobs, ensuring that the process is seamless, from quotation to invoicing and cash collection. In this role you will act as the key point of contact for the customer during the execution of a service job, optimizing customer satisfaction by meeting all obligations and requirements while complying with Health, Safety & Environment requirements.

    Your responsibilities

    • Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure local client growth, satisfaction and retention and utilizing feedback to drive development of processes and practice
    • Regularly reviewing the scope of work to ensure that all parties fulfill their contractual obligations, particularly regarding claims and changes
    • Managing all required reporting and documentation and overseeing the timely registration of necessary data in the system
    • Working with other ABB units and teams to harmonize service activities and maximize service sales at every opportunity
    • Identifying key improvement opportunities in products, services and processes, and disseminating the findings

    Your background

    • Electric/Electronics Engineering degree or similar with adequate work experience
    • 2 years of experience in service or project management role.
    • Knowledge of of Business IT applications (SAP, SharePoint, Office)
    • Proven leadership skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • Strong communication skills, fluent in English and Italian, spoken and written
