Service Engineer

As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as commissioning lead of projects with low to medium complexity. Ensuring completion of all commissioning activities efficiently and cost-effectively, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. Reporting to Business Manager - E2E, you will be supporting and coordinating the installation/ commissioning activities with the installation supervisor / site manager. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Your responsibilities

• Participating in internal project review meetings and provides inputs on commissioning activities
• Coordinating site activities focused on finalizing customer acceptance certification
• Supporting continuous improvement of project process/product/system design
• Using standard processes to ensure all commissioning activities comply with required safety regulations and contractual requirements
• Conducting risk and opportunity assessments during commissioning phase to ensure implementation of commissioning plan, identifying and reporting potential risks related to contract/quality/program/cost and recommends resolutions to project manager and /or site manager
• Supporting project managers / site managers in issuing claims (new scope of work, cost impact, time impact, risk quantifications etc.)
• Managing external organizations to ensure availability of commissioning equipment, systems, or services in coordination with supply chain function, Project Manager and/or Site Manager

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning and on site work
• Experience in Gas Analyzing
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
