Service Manager - Energy Industries

In this position, you will implement Business Line Service strategy and initiatives in Mexico, driving Service growth in automation and electrical segment within energy industries i.e. Power, Water, Oil, Gas and Chemical industries at Local Division level. In this role, you will lead the automation and electrification service business segment within the local & hub organization towards building up sustainable, profitable business with responsibility to achieve target business volumes coupled with year on year growth.

Your responsibilities
- Implements the PAEN HUB strategy of automation segment at local and Hub level, ensures business development, including profitability in domestic and allocated market.
- Ensures development of Service LD performance targets in line with HUB targets and ensures achievement of business growth through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
- Manage sales process, compliance and reporting functions to drive prospect, qualifying and developing the opportunity pipeline.
- Drive installed base (IB) penetration by utilization of available methods & tools i.e. whitespace, heat map and group tools (ServIS).
- Evaluate market potential of automation segment within energy industries i.e. Power, Water, Oil, Gas and Chemical at Local and Hub level. Decides appropriate actions for improved coverage and development of growth portfolios along with guidance to competency development to deliver these efficiently and profitably.
- Ensure that activities related service business are guided and supported for profitable growth and improvement of productivity. By the service delivery team.
- Coordinate with service delivery team on continuous basis to ensure adherence to proper delivery and performance standards to ensure consistency in quality leading to customer satisfaction.
- Builds new customer base and maintains strong relationships with new and existing customers leading to sustainable customer relationships, growth, and satisfaction. Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to maximize opportunities with key accounts within assigned segment/markets.
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with domain experience in ABB automation business.
- 3-5 year experience Service/Sales automation & electrification systems sales and/or projects, ideally managing service sales & projects.
- Strong customer Focus and front end (sales skills).
- Good interpersonal skills for interface within indirect reports, sales, proposals and operations.
- Ability to analyze business data and all other sources of information towards business planning & control.
- Has good analytical & problem-solving ability along with ability to make decisions. Possesses good communication skills.
