    Service Planning and Logistic Engineer

    As a Service Planning and Logistic Engineer you will take care of the management of customers’ requests and will work to satisfy them in an optimal way, both technically and timely. You will be in close co-operation with Local Service Organizations and other ABB teams, working to find solutions in order to meet and, where possible, exceed customers’ expectations. You will be responsible for providing support to customers, both technical (identification of needed spare parts or alternative solutions) and logistical.

    Global Spare Parts Operation Manager

    Your responsibilities

    • Consult with Local Service Organizations on spare parts related topics: both technical and administrative aspects.
    • Cooperate with Warehouse and Logistics dept. to improve on-time-delivery performances.
    • Cooperate with planning and production teams to ensure spare parts availability and guide safety stock levels settings.
    • Maintain contacts and relationships with Local Service Organizations.
    • Coordinate different functions in the factory to provide solutions that are safe, timely, effective, efficient and customer-centered.
    • Define priorities and manage different urgency levels.
    • Collect feedback from Local Service Organizations to promote product and process improvement.
    • Be active part in the development of new tools and procedures to be adopted in day-to-day service standard operations.

    Your background

    • An Engineering Degree.
    • Experience in logistics/ material planning and SAP knowledge are a plus.
    • Knowledge of Windows based systems and Office suite.
    • Fluent Italian and English.
    • Pragmatic and goal-oriented mindset, problem solving and teamwork skills, ability to multi-task.
