    Service Sales Specialist

    As a Service Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for adapting and implementing sales support strategy for designated area in accordance with the global support strategy and support the defined sales organization and customers throughout the sales process in the assigned area and service solution. This role is based in Singapore. Reporting to Service Sales Manager, you will be increasing new and existing business by supporting the sales organization to have relevant knowledge of products and service markets.

    Your responsibilities

    • Fully accountable for driving service sales targets, by providing cost effective solutions to the customers and initiating improvement plans as needed
    • Creating, planning, and implementing service sales strategy by increasing the installed base (IB) penetration, effectively utilizing ServIS (the approved Service database) and promoting value add service product offerings supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM)
    • Achieving service sales volume by ensuring the team sells allocated service portfolio and participating in negotiations of major contracts to secure service sales volume
    • In collaboration with the Service Sales team generating and identifying service sales leads by analyzing the IB potential and targeting those new IB opportunities from emerging trends with Service solutions available
    • Recommending appropriate solution for customer requests, and coordinates with related teams to ensure the complete handling of the request (e.g., production capability and scheduling, resourcing, quotes, price lists, invoice) is in place
    • Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships. Proactively informs customers about issue status based on inputs and clarifies any questions and ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the entire process
    • Supporting the team by participating in sales activities when needed and responsible for feedback on sales development, distribution of resources for service sales activities and the current status of the market
    • Monitoring client financial status and reports and changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner teams and identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels and driving health and safety practices in own unit

    Your background

    • Tertiary or degree qualifications in Engineering or another relevant course
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Aftersales market (preferably Marine & Ports)
    • Front end sales experience with good knowledge on Service Agreement, Service methodology and lifecycle modernization sales
    • SAP experience with technical knowledge and commercial aspects of business
    • Time management, co-ordination, accuracy, attention to detail and performing in a pressure environment are necessary
    • Business minded and results focused with excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
