    You will be working as Service Sales Specialist - Alex Area and will be the part of Electrification business area for Services division based in Alexandria, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Service Local Sales & Marketing Manager and will be responsible to drive service sales process in collaboration with the service sales manager, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales, focus on installed base penetration (IB) and sell the entire service product portfolio for low and medium voltage product and system, build long term customer relationships and ensure immediate response to specific customer needs and issues

    Your responsibilities

    • Protective sales to approach channels which build up a long relationship with customers, evaluating the market potential and ABB installed base data utilizing ServIS, identifying sales opportunities, allocating resources to execute the service sales strategy and ensuring achievement of sales targets
    • Increase installed base (IB) penetration by effectively utilizing ServIS, promoting value added service product solutions supporting Life Cycle Management (LCM), improving service presence with existing IB potential and upcoming elephant project delivery from main business
    • Achieving sales target with respect to both budget and cost-effective solutions to the customers, exhibiting high expertise in technical solutions and service products, demonstrating immediate resolution to customer’s concerns as needed
    • Working hand-in -hand with service operation in order ensure target volume and profitability, generating service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying and exploring
    • Penetrating the ABB Installed base and promoting the various ABB service portfolio at low & medium voltage scope as upgrade, retrofit, replacement with value-added solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB
    • Understanding the industry channel strategy and requirements, preparing the service sales plan for different accounts to ensure the segment coverage, preparing ABB’s Service offerings based on customer need and in coordination with the service sales manager
    • Charting out and monitoring sales proposals, tenders and following up proposal statistics, marketing acts as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings) which translating the needs of customer into relevant ABB service offerings and solutions
    • Complying with ABB Sales process, healthy, safety and integrity, effectively utilizing ABB service sales tools and database, ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with internal ABB divisions for service sales colleagues to ensure strong, positive and profitable customer relations
    • Monitoring client financial status and reporting any changes regarding risk to relevant internal partner team, identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers / channels

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical engineering
    • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in sales, preferable at service -target 2.5 MUSD
    • High technical knowledge for Low & Medium voltage product & solutions and experience and good network connection at Industry Segment
    • Ability to travel to customer meetings, corporate trainings and tradeshows
    • Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-efficient time management
    • Strong results orientation, strong communication skills, customer focus and presentation skills
    • Fluency in both English and Arabic language is mandatory
