    Service Sales Specialist

    You will be working as Service Sales Specialist and will be a part of Motion business for Service division based in Raipur, India. In this role, you will be reporting to Divisional Sales Director and will be responsible for driving service sales process in collaboration with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager. Generating service sales opportunities and securing profitable sales within the designated area(s). Focusing on installed base penetration (IB) and selling the entire Service product portfolio in collaboration with other ABB service units. Building long term customer relationships and ensuring immediate response to specific customer needs and issues.

    Your responsibilities

    • Collaborating with the Service Sales Manager and/or Service Manager implements Service sales strategy. Penetrating IB, promoting various upgrade, retrofitting and value adding solutions to the benefit of the customer and ABB
    • Utilizing IB database to understand the existing installed base (IB) and identifying and developing sales opportunities for Service products and solutions to penetrate the existing IB/new IBs in the market
    • Generating Service sales leads and developing new market opportunities by utilizing market trend information, identifying, and exploring potential new service portfolios
    • Establishing long term customer relationships by understanding customer requirements and applicable regulations and demonstrating in-depth technical service product/solutions knowledge to promote Life Cycle Management (LCM)
    • Planning and performing the right number of weekly sales visits, reporting them on CRM and selling entire service product portfolio to expand ABB footprint in the designated area(s)
    • Acting as a marketer/salesperson of ABB’s service products and solutions during marketing activities (campaigns, trade fairs, exhibitions, conferences, customer meetings)
    • Contributing to risk assessments related to price and quality. Registering required information into the appropriate customer database and ensuring technical reliability, safety and cost-effective solutions to satisfy customer’s needs

    Your background

    • Diploma / Degree in Electrical engineering
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Variable Frequency Drives (Low/Medium Voltage VFDs), Motors and Generators (LT and HT), Industries and various applications
    • Skills in Value Based Selling
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com is preferred
    • Collaborative mindset with excellent written and oral communication in English
