    At the ABB Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific team and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued. As a Simulation Engineer Intern, you will have an opportunity to join multidisciplinary Simulation Spe-cialists Team and work on development of Low and Medium Voltage products.

    Your responsibilities

    • Preparing CAD models and geometry simplification for numerical modelling;
    • Performing numerical simulations using internal and commercial simulation software (CST Studio, Ansys Maxwell);
    • Creating reports based on obtained results.

    Your background

    • Student of Power or Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics, Electronics and other related to elec-tricity or numerical modeling (preferably 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of study);
    • Availability – 20h/week;
    • Good skills in CAD software like PTC Creo, 3DS SolidWorks, ANSYS SpaceClaim;
    • Basic knowledge in numerical modeling (FEM/BEM) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) and/or electric discharge;
    • Working knowledge of MS Office package (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
    • Ability to read and write technical reports (English);
    • Involvement in additional students’ activities e.g. research associations highly welcomed.
