    Position summary

    This position reports to

    Project Manager
    Your responsibilities

    • Leads the site team allocated to the project, defines main guidelines, allocates tasks, and motivates and monitors internal and external resources and suppliers to accomplish all tasks and milestones.

    • Responsible, from starting commissioning phase to handing over to the end customer on completion day, for coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the successful execution of commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.

    • Controls cost estimates continuously and correctly, and ensures deviations are approved by the Project Manager. Monitors and shares on a daily basis the performance of the installation, detailing possible problems and establishes action plans to solve them.

    • Ensures to review and keep up to date all method statement & risk assessment as per ABB Standard. Conducts regular SOT's at site.

    • Manages the ABB sub-contractors at site to ensure necessary quality and progress achieved to meet the delivery date, agreed standards, and the HSE requirements.

    • Serves as a project and ABB representative by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other suppliers to ensure their active support of field activities.

    • Conducting periodically meetings with customer / sub-contractors along with HSE team.

    • Ensures that the project is completed on time. Closes all punch list, handover of installed equipment, as-built documentation, and receives the final certification from customer.

    Your background

    • At least 2 year of experience working in Project Management, mainly in an Industrial Environment.

    • On-site equipment installation work, managing people, will be valued.

    • Team management, adaptability, risk control, anticipation and problem solving are necessary skills for this position.

    • Fluent both Spanish and English is mandatory, other languages (French or German) would be valuable.

    • Willingness to travel and spend long periods of time on the move is required.

    • Industrial engineering is preferable

    • Knowledge of Office tools (Word, Excel) as well as cost control and planning (MS Project) are required.
