Join our Process Automation Service Tool development team which leverages modern technologies and ABB’s vast domain knowledge to help our customers achieve results. As a Software Engineer, you will collaborate within an agile team based in our Corporate Technology Center in Kraków, developing software products for services. Partner with your fellow team members to develop, test, and deliver software with additional support from the global R&D network within ABB’s Process Automation organization. Your role will be crucial to foster the quality culture of our team and to ensure quality is built into all products we create.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and understand applications, technology, domain and determine their potential architecture components
• Identify common components for applications and design them such that they can be reused in the other applications
• Identify the gaps exist in the core services for developing the application and provide feedback to the product/platform teams during the development cycle
• Working with platform product teams and ensuring smooth interface between the PG applications and the platform and systems provided
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate with the PG teams to create high quality applications within the defined schedules and budgets

Your background

• University degree in Computer Science or similar
• At least 2 years of experience in software development
• Expertise in development using C#, .Net Core, web technologies
• Good with digital architecture (Web/Cloud) Exposure to web related technologies
• Exposure to digitization products/platforms /Technology (preferably Microsoft Azure)
• Fluency in English
• Nice to have exposure to the setup of Dockers/ Kubernetes and application deployment
