As a Designer Software, you will be responsible for design and develop software for new projects according to customer requirements, including new application machine vision system design, Scada or MES system design, etc. for Robotics & Discrete Automation Business Area in Shanghai, China.
This position reports to
Engineering Manager
Your responsibilities
- Being responsible for design and develop software systems for new projects according to customer requirements and ABB UI standards, including machine vision system design, Scada or MES system design, etc.
- Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable code, good at C# or C++
- Writing documentation of software design and products
- Being responsible for technical support to sales team
Your background
- A bachelor’s degree or above, major in software
- 3 years or above, working experience on non-standard equipment development
- Proficient in one of the popular machine vision software (Halcon, VisionPro, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience in High level language like C++, C# etc
- Experience in Scada or MES is preferred
- Experience in GI industry is preferred
