Your responsibilities

• Opex Software Service Engineer’s role includes analyzing and modifying existing software as well as designing, implementing, and testing customer specific enhancements that meet customer needs.
• Main responsibilities include:
• Supporting ABB MES install base in a global team.
• Understanding customer questions and requirements related to ABB MES.
• Creating solution specifications based on Customer requirements.
• Configuring the ABB MES applications according to the specifications.
• Customer specific software development related to ABB MES.
• Participation to small ABB MES add-on projects.

Your background

• Familiar with Python, JavaScript, and other programming languages.
• Knowledge of PL/SQL and relational databases (for example Oracle).
• Paper, metals, cement production and related MES/MOM/OMS software knowledge is a must.
• Over 10 years support & service experience.
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in English.
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree from Information Sciences, Process Engineering or applicable degree from another relevant field.
