Software Test Engineer

You will also assist the Test Manager, Product Owner, Architect, and Release Owner with effort estimations and the refinement of requirements, leveraging your domain expertise and testing skills. Qualifications for the role

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience testing software in the energy domain.
• Proficient with cloud-based applications and infrastructure for development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Docker/Kubernetes, Azure DevOps/GitHub, and virtualization platforms like HyperV and VMware.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, test concepts, APIs, microservices, and database/log queries.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols, DCS, SCADA, PLC, and control systems in an industrial environment.
• Experience in creating and maintaining test infrastructure and network setups.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of test automation and ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Domain Expertise: Preference in Industrial Domain , with skills around control systems , OPCUA , IOT Devices & Cloud Technologies.
• Manual Testing Skills , with good STLC Knowledge and sound Defect management and requirements analysis background.
• Good to have: Skills with UI Automation testing for web based applications , API Automation tests or Backend tests using Brokers/middleware.
