Software Test Engineer with Automation – Internship

At Corporate Technology Center in Kraków we create innovative solutions, implemented in ABB products and systems. It is a unique opportunity for you to join interdisciplinary scientific teams and international projects where expertise, curiosity and innovation are valued. As a Test Automation Engineer Intern, you will contribute to R&D development of E-Mobility products with focus on testing embedded software and test automation, thorough testing of the solutions, modules, and functions produced by the software development teams and support activities in local laboratories.

Your responsibilities

• Planning and development of automated tests in Python;
• Development of test framework and platform;
• Code maintenance and documentation;
• Execution of manual tests (limited, focus on test automation);
• Data analysis.

Your background

• Student of 3rd or 4th year;
• Knowledge of Python 3;
• Knowledge of electronics;
• Familiarity with the most common concepts of software testing and the associated terminology;
• Familiarity with communication protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, Modbus TCP/RTU;
• Familiarity with GIT;
• Familiarity with Linux on user level;
• Good written and spoken English;
• Minimum availability 20h/week;
• SEP 1kV.
