Solution & Innovation Manager (80-100%)

The Solution and Innovation Manager supports the Domain Owner, Service Owners, and Service Managers in defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable large-scale solutions that meet customer needs. In addition, they drive innovation across the infrastructure services together with our customers, partners, and Service Owners. Operating at a strategic and tactical level, whilst supporting transformation and operations, they ensure that solutions are developed, deployed, and embedded correctly into GBS IS operations to achieve the desired results throughout their lifecycle. Solution management ensures end-to-end viability of solutions from a financial (business case), commercial (service provider), contractual (revision and/or compliance of provider agreements), technical (compliance to policy and architecture) and delivery perspective to ensure the integrity of the technology architecture and realize the benefits coming from standardization, synergy, and optimization of the technology landscape across Business and Domains.

Your responsibilities

• Carrying out regular innovation meetings with partners (TCS, GCP, Azure, AWS, BT)
• Supporting various projects in terms of special solutions (e.g., RAMIO: private cloud, kill the zombies, disaster recovery)
• involvement in Merger & Acquisitions projects
• Accomplishing regular demand and innovation meetings with customers
• Performing regular contract meetings with vendor manager and vendors to find saving opportunities
• Providing regular innovation update/status for Infrastructure Service Domain LT

Your background

• Master’s Degree in information management, computer systems, business engineering or similar
• Good communication and presentation skills in English
• Open minded and agile acting person
• Person with drive and willingness to change things fast
• If possible, native cloud architect from google, azure or amazon
• Solution management function, innovation management function or equivalent
• Proven record of developing complex solutions in both traditional infrastructures and multi-cloud environments
