Sr Devops Engineer

You will be working as Sr Devops Engineer and will be reporting to Research and development Manager and will be a part of Motion – Drive products located in Bangalore, India. Identifies, proposes, and implements innovative technology, software and/or solutions by contributing with own ideas. Works independently as a member of an R&D team.

Your responsibilities

• Designing and implementing continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating test as well as production environments
• Writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Industry standard tools and services
• Writing application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and
• configuration tools
• Designing and configure infrastructure and application monitoring alerts
• Providing systems support including responding to monitoring alerts
• Analyzing the infrastructure logs including security logs and take necessary actions to keep solutions up all the time
• Implementing and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling.
• Identifying and correct any single points of failure
• Working with developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their
• provisioning
• Document the DevOps process
• Incident management and root cause analysis (Mainly Infrastructure related)
• cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk
• Management

Your background

• You own Bachelor or a master’s degree in computer science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent skill level
• You have around 5 to 8 years of experience.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in build automation, Azure DevOps Pipeline Creations, Managing Builds, Job Scheduling, Working with Plugins Monitoring.
• In details deep hands on experience in, Continues Integration, Continuous deployment and continuous monitoring
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Platform As A Service ( PaaS )
• Experience in PowerShell scripting.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate with customers, vendors, and partners, and across all levels of the organization
• Azure DevOps Engineer is added advantage
