    This is a Sr Software Engineer - CAD role, reporting to the R&D Team Lead in Robotics & Discrete Automation based in Bangalore, India. You will be primarily responsible to work on world class desktop and or Cloud applications in Robotics domain. You will collaborate with Technical leads / application architects, the development team, and various stakeholders within the company to ensure the delivery of all product in an efficient, timely manner.

    Your responsibilities

    • Working as part of a team, developing applications using Agile development methods
    • Developing new software products from grounds up, staying true to our company's core values while lending your own creativity to the team
    • Maintaining existing software to meet the changing needs of our key demographics
    • Coding, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing solutions
    • Contributing to productivity improvement initiatives like continuous integration and deployment, DevOps etc. for faster and reliable development as well as deployment of the software products/solutions
    • Focusing on creating fault-tolerant programming
    • Creating scalable, reusable, library, and automated solutions for our customer base
    • Establishing multi-platform versions of the software package
    • Writing automated unit test/Functional tests for new and existing application to ensure compatibility and stability

    Your background

    • BE in Computer Science is required
    • 6 to 8 years of relevant work experience
    • Experience in Industrial Product development domain and Software development in CAD and related applications
    • Strong knowledge & experience in C# / C++ and understanding of 3D geometry Math
    • Experience with complex software products and unit testing tools and strong problem-solving skills (non-linear thinking)
    • Experience in working with projects related to development of simulation software, 3D graphics user interface, development of product based on Computer Aided design
