Sr. UIX Designer

You will be working as Sr. UIX Designer and will be part of Motion business for Drive Products division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for working with the teams which are developing and validating shippable products for the India and global markets. You will also be a part of global R&D community spread across the ABB MODP division.

Your responsibilities

• Creating the design brief together with product owners, lead designer, integrate customer and user understanding with business requirements
• Supporting R&D projects in customer understanding
• Should be having a hands-on design work and collaborating with developers
• Coordinating design across multiple projects
• Author, iterate, and maintain UI documentation
• Spreading Human Centered Design mindset in the organization (advocate design process, train colleagues)

Your background

• BTech/ MTech in design specializations, or preferably Bachelor/Master studies in Design (Interaction Design, Industrial Design, etc.)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in the field of UX/UI design
• Excellent visual and UI/UX- design skills & a portfolio to back this up
• Ability to distill complex processes into simple, clear, user interactions
• Ability to translate abstract ideas and requirements into tangible and functional design deliverables
• Fluent English communication skills, verbal and written
