    Position summary

    on of total costs of ownership, turnover rates, delivery performance) • Carrying out professional supplier management (search, selection, classification, further development, implementation and risk assessment) • Proactive market observation and analysis as well as escalation management • Interface with R&D and the procurement market to evaluate new technologies and products • Leading complex contract negotiations and professional contract management • Risk and strategy management for the main product groups/categories for which you are responsible • Data analysis, controlling and reporting • Strategic cooperation with global ABB category teams for electronic components
    Qualifications for the role

    • Completed commercial and technical training (e.g. industrial engineering)
    • Several years of relevant professional experience in international purchasing
    • Market knowledge and experience in the field of embedded Products or EMS Services desired
    • Confident handling of MS Office applications, experience with SAP module MM an advantage
    • Very good knowledge of German and English
    • Diplomatic and assertive personality with strong negotiating skills
