    Supplier Quality Engineer

    We are looking for a new member to join our global robotics manufacturing centre (EDP - Engineering Delivery Platform) in Mosnov to expand our existing team as a "Supplier Quality Engineer". In this position, you will be part of a global unit that is focused on the production of robotic workstations. This position is associated with the development of the quality management system across the organization, including setting up processes and communication channels. As part of this position, you will be an active member and mentor in quality training and company culture creation.     Your responsibilities

    • Working with the purchasing department to select new/alternative suppliers
    • Continuous supplier development
    • Creating a clear process link between ABB and suppliers
    • Evaluating suppliers from a quality perspective (link to SCM)
    • Regular monitoring of suppliers
    • Defining an annual audit plan
    • Conducting audits in the supply and subcontracting chain and participating in internal audits
    • Participation in the development of control plans
    • Preparation of appropriate documentation of purchased parts
    • Working with suppliers to resolve quality issues
    • Administrative support for quality management
    • Managing the corrective action plan, including evaluation of its effectiveness
    • Proactive handling of complaints to suppliers
    • Cooperation with other departments
    • Responsibility for suppliers' compliance with HSE / OHS / Environmental protection rules

    Your background

    • Technical education
    • Previous experience in supplier quality
    • English language at a good communicative level (ideally B2 level)
    • Advanced PC skills (Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, SAP, PowerPoint)
    • Orientation and reading in drawing documentation
    • Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, 8D, 5Why, CCRP, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke)
    • Lean 6 Sigma (Yellow belt)
    • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 19011 standards
    • Knowledge of metrology
    • Competence in performing visual and dimensional inspection
