    The SCM Specialist will support in development and ensure communication and implementation of Global SCM strategies within the Motion Business Area. Improve areas such as Indirect Materials & Services, Transport, Trade & Logistics, Strategic Sourcing, Process & Excellence, Finance, Risk Management, and Supply Base Management. Ensure implementation, maintenance and compliance of assigned Supply Chain.

    Your responsibilities

    • Support implementation of SCM standards, tools and processes for MONM (Motion NEMA Motors). Analyze data needs to identify best solutions and implements improvements to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and value for the SCM Organization.
    • Support analysis training needs and provides training to ensure successful implementation.
    • Execute assigned internal controls and / or responsibilities as per the Test Plan. Support external Audits for Supply Chain Management with relevant reports and data creation.
    • Maintain data files and support activities for Supplier Conflict Mineral Compliance, 889 Compliance, Reach, ROHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances).
    • Support and implement processes and tools needed for SCM requirements such as COTD (Customer On Time Delivery), SPPM (Supplier Performance Management), SCMIS (Supply Chain Management Information Systems), Gross Margin reporting and alignment with the P&L for SCM activities, KPI’s and metrics.
    • Drive adoption and greater usage of BI reporting both in the US and in alignment with tools already offered at the MO level.
    • Create, maintain and refine weekly reporting on PPV (Purchase Price Variance), COTD, SPPM, Spend, Compliance and drive “information” from the data files.
    • Lead monthly reporting activities for SCMIS to ensure timely updates and meeting all corporate guidelines.

    Your background

    • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 0-2 years experience OR Associate's Degree and minimum 2 years experience OR High School Diploma/ GED and minimum 4 years experience. 5 or more years related supply chain, finance or IS related experience - Preferred
    • Microsoft, SAP (Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software) and Power Bi (Business Intelligence​) skills - Preferred
    • Excellent analytical, communication and systems navigation skills
    • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
