    Sustainability Manager

    ABB Large Motors and Generators Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators. From general purpose to highly customized designs, synchronous motors provide high efficiency, reliability and availability across all major industries and applications, including some in the toughest and most demanding environments. The division also has a long track record of designing and building generators for wide range of industries, including power generation, marine, oil and gas, mining, and data centers. In your role as Sustainability Manager you will lead and develop the sustainable strategy for the global business line. You will also coordinate topics related to Health, Safety, Environment (HSE). The role also includes to work with implementation of the strategy together with the different business functions such as product management, R&D, sourcing, operation and after sales services. In this role you will also coordinate work towards the business globally. You will be a part of the quality department and report to the Quality Manager. You will act as a team lead for the functions working with HSE and sustainability. This role plays an important key as we are committed to continue our contribution toward a sustainable future.

    Your responsibilities

    • Strategic and pro-active work related to sustainability and HSE
    • Lead the team that are working with HSE
    • Active part of both local and global HSE-related forums
    • Develop and implement Circularity assessments for our products
    • Develop and perform Life-cycle assessments with related EPDs for our offering
    • MOLM Sweden responsible for circularity towards the global division
    • Validate sustainability and HSE KPI:s reported to external stakeholders

    Your background

    • Previous experience with LCA and appropriate tools
    • Previous experience or relevant education in sustainability and circular economy work
    • Experience in leading projects related to sustainability or HSE
    • Bachelor or Master degree in a technical area
    • A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
    • You are a team player, driven, structured and result-oriented
    • Fluency in English, written and verbal, is a requirement and Swedish is preferred
