    Working as a SYIN Business development manager, you will be working with internal teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and implementing sales and marketing strategies for the SYIN channel for Drives and PLCs products in order to achieve ABB market penetration and growth aspirations in Spain. Proactively trains, support and influences the sales department to develop the business. Manages the marketing and sales action plans to both achieve the key qualitative and quantitative targets in a profitable way and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Your responsibilities

    • Support the Sales organization and customers throughout the sales process by adapting our products to customer applications to meet customer specification.
    • Helping to resolve customers’ issues with Drives and PLCs— which may involve visiting customer sites .
    • Identifying new application development or enhancements, and creating innovative solutions to meet customers’ needs.
    • Select optimized products and technology, preparing documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area.
    • Supports sales development in the country defining and developing application team and application sales strategy.
    • Leads the development and implementation of solutions, product packages, Software application with his/her own team.
    • Working with others to define marketing plans and tools, while promoting sales activities.

    Your background

    • Relevant experience in Business Development, working as product manager, sales manager, or business developer in industry.
    • Sound knowledge of Automation products and applications for System Integrators, especially in Metals, Marine and Pulp & Paper markets
    • Leadership, strategic mindset, and influence and negotiation abilities.
    • Proficient in Spanish and highly fluent in English.
    • Availability to travel frequently.
