    System Engineer TCMS - Train Control and Monitoring System (80-100%)

    We are looking for a motivated team player for the field of vehicle control technology within the ABB Traction Division in Turgi/Switzerland. If you enjoy realizing projects from specification to implementation to commissioning on the vehicle, then this is your challenge as a control technology system engineer.

    Your responsibilities

    • Assistance in analyzing and cleaning up customer requirements as well as conceptual design of the vehicle control system (TCMS hardware and software)
    • Assistance in the specification of the interfaces to subsystems including technical coordination with suppliers
    • Carrying out system analyses, concept studies and feasibility studies
    • Creation, verification and validation of vehicle software
    • Support of initial commissioning and vehicle type tests
    • Support in the preparation of homologation documents

    Your background

    • Completed studies as an electrical engineer, computer scientist (university or university of applied sciences) or comparable training
    • Good knowledge of software and systems engineering
    • Good written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages an advantage
    • Committed and communicative team player with structured work style and willingness to travel for short business trips
