    We would like to strengthen our sales team with an experienced Technical Sales Engineer for electrical drives solutions in the mineral and mining sector. Our requirements are widely diversified, with a focus on efficient drive systems for our worldwide customer base. Our offering for a drive’s solution is de-fined by the application. The offering can be a standalone drives system or be part of a plant wide energy distribution system. The aim is to make a differentiation to have an optimized offering. Our ideal candidate is combining deep technical knowledge for drives applications with management skills to embed the technical solution in an offering. This requires coordination with all stakeholder’s part of an offering e.g. sourcing, engineering project management etc. Depending on the project, you will be in the leading or in the supporting role. Both are equally important, as the team is one of the winning factors.

    Your responsibilities

    • Designing of a drive train system
    • Preparing commercially and technically optimized offers for electrical drive systems in close coopera-tion with the area sales manager
    • Conducting in-depth analyses and assessments to determine most suitable technical solution to meet customer requirements
    • Leading or supporting a technical project team consisting of different disciplines engineers and sup-port functions
    • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and cus-tomers on complex product solutions
    • Supporting the area sales manager in sales activities, occasionally on-site
    • Liaising with supply chain management, project management, engineering and commercial teams for smooth process flow and offering competitive proposals.
    • Offering technical support with regard to technical meetings, negotiations, etc. and put forward tech-nical recommendations, including costings for specific solutions

    Your background

    • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering, ideally with focus on drive technology or power engineering
    • Minimum of five years work experience in bid & proposal or engineering for drive system solution
    • Solid understanding of contractual agreements as well as the ability to estimate technical and com-mercial risks
    • Fluent command of English is a must
    • Willingness for occasional business trips
