    Technical Sales Engineer for plant system solution

    A system is more than a bundling of products. Do you understand and experienced the differences already? Our organization is responsible for the delivery of the entire electrification for Mining projects worldwide. From high voltage to signal voltage, from local control to the plant automation systems. Technical sales is key to make the difference. We are looking for a person combining technical product knowledge, with an interdisciplinary background, leadership and well-developed sales skills. To make a difference in our offering is your aim. A customer proposal is your base and motivation to optimize as you are able to assess the effects and consequences in your system solution.

    Your responsibilities

    • Functionally leading and guiding a technical team of different disciplines but as well be part of a technical team lead functionally by others.
    • Preparing commercially and technically optimized offers for an electrical plant system solution in close cooperation with the area sales manager
    • Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex system solutions
    • Supporting the area sales manager in sales activities, occasionally on-site
    • Liaising with supply chain management, project management, engineering and commercial teams for smooth process flow and offering competitive proposals.
    • Offering technical support with regard to technical meetings, negotiations, etc. and put forward technical recommendations, including costings for specific solutions

    Your background

    • Degree (Bachelor or Master) in Electrical Engineering, ideally with focus on power engineering
    • At least 10 years’ experience relating to electrification in systems business (power plants, mining, cement, or similar)
    • Well-developed analytical abilities and capacity to grasp complex technical issues quickly and confidently
    • Willingness for occasional business trips
    • Proven track record or demonstrable skills in sales/consulting (or similar)
    • Fluent command of English
